Made in translucent and opaque variations, it is quite flexible and tough. It can withstand temperatures of 65 ☌ (149 ☏) continuously and 90 ☌ (194 ☏) for a short time. ![]() At room temperature it is not reactive, except to strong oxidizers some solvents cause it to swell. LDPE is defined by a density range of 917–930 kg/m 3.
